Olumayowa is a futurist and the Managing Director of African Liberty, Founding Partner at the War Room Associates and the West Africa Policy Fellow at South Africa’s top political and economic think-tank, the Institute of Race Relations. He serves as Assistant Director of International Programs at Students For Liberty, the world’s largest youth movement for human freedom.
He is an alumnus of the Think Tank MBA program from the Atlas Economic Research Foundation in the United States and is also completing professional certificate courses in operations and project management from the Acton School of Business in Austin, Texas and Stanford University respectively. In 2013, he founded African Students For Liberty and has nurtured it into an international nonprofit with operations in 11 African countries, engaging over 100 year-long volunteers and impacting over 4,000 students annually. He works as a policy analyst at the Independent Entrepreneurship Group in Cape Town and serves as a Mentor at Berlin-based Kwantum Mentoring Limited where he provides psychosocial support to refugees and asylum seekers in Germany. He was nominated to receive the Future Awards Africa prize in Advocacy and Activism, an award the World Bank considers the “Nobel Prize for Young Africans”, and the “most important youth awards” by Forbes.
