GREAT LAKES REGIONAL CONFERENCE IN BUJUMBURA 2018
At this year’s Great Lakes Regional Conference, focus will be on the implementation of the free trade agreement signed recently in Kigali by African nations; trade regulations, free trade agreements exchange among countries in Great Lakes; barriers of free enterprises owing to many taxes, & and affront on private property. All these and more will make up the discussions at the Great Lakes RC at Bujumbura, Burundi.

Directions: How to get to the conference venue
Venue: The conference shall be held at the Conference Room of the Institut Français du Burundi (French Institute of Burundi)
Directions: From the main bus At Sion or COTEBU, if you use public transport, take a bus to Sion or COTEBU station to downtown Bujumbura. They will drop you at the entrance of the French Institute of Burundi. The Institute is visible on the descent of your bus and SFL banner. Security Officers and the SFL Reception Service will guide you to the Conference Room.
Participants are however required to make arrangements for their transport and accommodation.
Fun side: Bujumbura is a capital located on Lake Tanganyika with the presence of the best poets in the world. Conference participants can visit Lake Tanganyika, by taking 20-minutes’ walk from French Institute of Burundi, venue of our Regional Conference to enjoy.
